Biked to the office. Lower leg hurts when I put weight on the leg when I pedal hard... very bummed. Everything I'm reading points to peroneal tendon damage... it says it takes a while to heal. It almost doesn't hurt when I walk or even run, and I can go up stairs just fine. When I go downstairs and put all my weight on the right leg is when I can really feel it. It's not bad pain at all, but I don't want it to get worse. So I'll probably rest again today, maybe go back to the swimming pool... Bummer cause it's snowing and I love running in the snow! From my office window I can see the runners on Rock Creek Park having fun. Grrrrrrrrr!

I'm applying ice throughout the day and keeping it bandaged and elevating at night. This weekend Will and I are going cross-country skiing - I'm hoping the exercise will not hurt the leg cause you slide and don't put all your weight on one leg that much. We shall see how it goes... for now, resting...

You should yell obscenities at the runners when they go by. They'll be like, "Who's that crazy Latin girl in the window?"

Im with Burt its hard to see others out running when your injured. It hurts, hurts bad! I found myself drifting into one while driving and had to yell at myself, Self, I said, You just cant do that! Its not worth it, or something to that affect.

Okay. The worst I'd do is yell at them from behind a closed window. But plow them over??? Holy smokes, Walter. Remind me never to go running in southern SLC. Hahaha.

Thanks for making me laugh guys! I'm getting really bummed out... Just as I recover from one thing comes another. It's just not fair! :(

Burt I guess its my satist side of me. haha

Lucia, does this exclude you from Ogden? I hope not. We are doing our best to accommodate you out of towners.

I hope to still be able to run Ogden or Ft. Collins... but I may have to rest it for a few weeks, according to what I've been reading, tendons take a long time to heal... Are you sure I'll be able to get into Ogden, Wall-e? It's hard to know what my chances are...

Let me know for sure. Im going to call him in a week after the whole Zions bank thing is over with. He told me to try Zions entrance, but Im not going to put 25 bucks in an account to get into a race. Thats like baptizing someone in your church so they could play on your basketball team. Its pathetic.
